Apollo

Apollo has become one of our PAH Team Favorites!

BUT... he deserves his Forever Person!

Apollo came to PAH from CSS after being sold at their sale and being returned, this happens sometimes... very sad! He fell into the #10 Feed Lot Pen...aka...slaughter pipeline!

PAH received a call saying this horse was amazing, needed some TLC, but was an accomplished riding horse and also had the looks to steal your heart!

Once at PAH he needed TLC for sure, but he was always sweet and accepting.

Apollo will be a wonderful Forever Horse to someone who wants a companion, easy to work with and do some light riding. His show ring days are over, no jumping and no acrobatics! lol! He will also require a qualified farrier in his life, he is barefoot now and doing well.

Apollo gets along well with his herd of geldings and mares. He is non aggressive toward other horses. Apollo is said to be a Warmblood and is about 16 h. He's a big boy!

When he sees our volunteers, he is one of the first to the gate to get some love!

Bonnie and Amie

Bonnie and Amie are best friends! They were saved from the slaughter pipeline together,  and through their healing time at the Sanctuary, they have developed an even closer bond.
Bonnie is a large pony, as sweet as they come, she's confident, safe and loves attention.
Amie is a small QH cross, sweet, laid back, and craves love, attention and people time.
PAH would love to find a Forever Guardian placement for Bonnie and Amie together.

Both Bonnie and Amie have a wonderful temperament for working as Equine Assisted Therapy and Learning horses.

Nicko

Look who is ready to meet his Forever Person ~ Nicko <3

Nicko came to us in January after traveling the slaughter pipeline by way of KY, PA and NJ! He came to our sanctuary in NY as a shy guy, bonded to Titan, who has been adopted.
Nicko is healthy, sound, athletic and loves people now! He sure did heal emotionally - way to go Team PAH!

Nicko will need a Forever Person who will continue on with his training on the ground and also under saddle. We recommend at least a 60 day program for him.

Nicko is a kind guy with his herd and is eager to be with his people also.

If you are looking for a very handsome QH teenager, 15.2hh, sound and healthy to train your way and get into the trails, Niko is your guy!

Please reach out to Nanci@peacefulacreshorses.com for an adoption application and details.

Please note, PAH does not allow PAH adopted/placed horses to be transferred, leased or sold. PAH Contract must be upheld for the long term safety of the horse(s).

* You may also schedule a Boots and PJs Retreat and spend time with Nicko and others before you make your adoption choice. Allow time to meet and get to know each other before making the Lifetime commitment.

Shiloh

Shiloh has said he is ready for his very own Forever Person.

Shiloh is a Standardbred who had been Amished for a period of time, then dumped in an auction, aka, kill-pen.

He has had time to learn how just to "be a horse", and along with that we are finding he is also enjoying being ridden! - Susan thinks he is wonderful under saddle and also very very smooth!

( you just have to LOVE Standardbreds <3 )

If you are looking for a "big bodied" horse who is quiet, confident and wants to trail ride, perhaps Shiloh is your new Forever Best Friend?

He will still require some extra riding training, but he's game if you are!

Shiloh gets along great with the other horses in his herd, he is a leader, not at all aggressive, but directive.

Please email Nanci@peacefulacreshorses.com if you would like more information about Shiloh and to complete an adoption placement application.

* Forever Placements Only - no re-selling, trading or leasing, PAH holds a Forever Ownership Contract. This protects the horse for life and offers new Guardians peace of mind also.

We were saved by Peaceful Acres Horses in November from the Slaughter Pipeline.
They thought we were in foal....but we are not!!
They said we were cute, but very shy.
But we are really trusting people now. We have great caretakers at PAH!
So if you want to fill your heart with us and you have the time and space to commit to us, maybe we can move to your Stable Place.
Thank you for saving our lives and keeping us together.

Samantha

We met Samantha in "the pen", she rested her head on Nanci's shoulder and asked to be saved.

But the trailer was full and we thought she would find someone to purchase her from the pen.

A week passed, and she was not yet saved!

PAH went back for her!

Now Samantha is learning many lessons from Team PAH Caregivers.... Including how to stand in crossties. Thank you Kelly!

Samantha is sweet! She will need a Forever Guardian who is willing to be patient, kind and a wonderful teacher.

Samantha is gaining weight and personality!

We love this growing girl!

14.1 pony.....and growing...

Ike

My name is Ike I was rescued from a kill-pen in September. I was in poor condition and PAH has helped me to restore physically and emotionally. I am now wishing to find a forever friend and Guardian.

I would need to be trained to be a riding horse, I do not know much about that. But I am willing. I get along well with other horses, but I also like to be in a small herd, maybe just a friend or 2.

Please contact Nanci@peacefulacreshorses.com to schedule a time to meet me.

Thank you for considering me as your buddy and companion, Ike

Sugar

Hi my name is Sugar. I was rescued by the police, who called Peaceful Acres Horses and asked if PAH would be able to provided care and recovery for me. My foal had died of complications due to starvation and I was in terrible condition.

I am fully healed now and ready for a new adoptive guardian to call my own. I am about 18 years old and have been ridden. I need a bit of a refresher and a confident rider ( non-beginner) but I do enjoy it. I also get along great with other horses and prefer to not be locked in a stall for long periods of time.

Please consider me as your next horse or a companion horse.

Please contact Nanci Beyerl, Founder and Executive Director for more information and to schedule a time to meet me.

To be quite honest, I am perfect!

Angie

Hi there, my name is Angie. I am about 1 year old. I was rescued in November 2014 from a cruelty case. I am beautiful, healthy and ready for a new adoptive guardian. I am very shy, because I did not have attention from people when I was young.

I want to have a person to call my own and grow up big, strong, confident and healthy. Please consider me, if you are looking to start your own horse and have a best friend.

Please contact Nanci Beyerl, Founder and Executive Director for more information and to schedule a time to meet me.

Guinness

Hi my name is Guinness ( I am with my friend Roman - I am the Buckskin on the left) . I am about 5 years old and I am one of the most playful horses at PAH! I was rescued by PAH from neglect. I lived in a stall for over 2 years and had never been outdoors. I was not handled so I was very nervous around people. Now I am playful, confident, healthy and ready to be a riding horse. I am not yet trained to ride, but I am easy to handle and love playing natural horsemanship games!

Please consider me as your next horse. I am looking for a new adoptive guardian who will love me! ( my best buddy is Aero - please adopt us together if you can)

My name is Amiriti, I was rescued by Team PAH from neglect. I was part of a very large herd and we did not have any socialization. I have been receiving care at PAH's sanctuary since 2012 and now I am social, friendly and ready to be a companion to a new loving adoptive guardian.

I have some confirmation limitations due to chronic neglect, so I can't be a riding horse. But please do not let that persuade you to pass me by, I am really sweet and would love to show you how lovely I am.
