f you are planning a group activity or function, look to Peaceful Acres where we offer , a quiet, unique location just 15 minutes from Schenectady and 30 minutes from Albany or Saratoga Springs. Peaceful Acres is situated on 156 acres with breathtaking views, hiking trails, a pavilion and 30 foot Yurt for your group to enjoy.

You may plan a day retreat or workshop incorporating Peaceful Acres equine guided learning activities for team building for your staff or family reunion. If you plan an event with the kids, you may wish to offer horseback riding or pony rides for the kids to enjoy while your adults mingle or have a meeting. 
Peaceful Acres Horses is a not for profit equine rescue sanctuary and also a therapeutic healing center for youth and adults. If you decide to use our facility for your event, the cost of your stay with us will go directly into the care of the horses in retirement and sanctuary at the farm.
- Basic Day Rate (weekday) from 9:00-4:00 : $500.00
- Equine Guided Team Building: $250.00 per 1.5 hour session – up to 8 participants (pp cost over 8 is $35.00)
- Pony Rides/HorseRides (non-trail riding): $30.00 pp ½ hour
- Catering is available at an additional cost. (since we are a sanctuary for animals, we do not offer “pig roasts” ).
- You may consider bringing your own food and BBQ grill – this will help you to keep your costs down.
- If you would like to customize your special event – Reunion or Wedding, costs will be higher.
- Ideal Group Size: 20-30 people
