Libby was rescued from a kill-pen. Severely traumatized by physical abuse. Libby is in need of a buddy sponsor, someone to teach her how to trust again. Libby does well with incredibly patient people that can take their time being a steady and distant calm presence for her to get used to. When we move forward too quickly with trying to get her more comfortable with what we think she should be ready for, it usually pushes her further away. She went through terrible treatment for years, and she may never fully pull out of the untrusting state of mind, but that is okay. She doesn’t need to become a super-story of full recovery and transformation to be cared for, loved and noticed. Will you notice Libby? -SL
