Sassy

Sassy is a Senior Resident at Peaceful Acres Horses. She was saved as a Senior Camp Pony from the slaughter pipeline by PAH in 2005!

Sassy is a beautiful Senior who deserves her very own Feed Partner and Care Sponsor.

Please consider becoming her fiscal sponsor.

Sassy is beautiful, still sassy...and still very sound and playful with her herd buddies. A beautiful soul!

June

June is an adult Jenny Donkey who was saved from the slaughter pipeline.

Upon meeting June, we knew she was a very special soul! But June had not had proper care in her past, her hooves were not only over grown, she had had laminitis causing pain and suffering.

June also arrived with pneumonia, typical of many equines, especially donkeys in the slaughter pipeline.

June is now receiving care at Peaceful Acres Horses through Rood and Riddle in Saratoga Springs and her awesome farrier, Rachel.

For now, PAH is saying June is a PAH resident with special needs.

Perhaps you would like to become June's Care Sponsor or sponsor her care for the next year as a resident at Peaceful Acres Horses.

Network For Good contributions are greatly appreciated or you may choose to mail a gift to June's Care to 3740 Rynex Corners Rd Pattersonville NY 12137.

Thank you for your encouragement, generosity and compassion!

Buddy

Buddy needs a Buddy...
When we meet these sweet souls in the slaughter pipeline, we do not know how much they truly need us, until they arrive at the Sanctuary.

Buddy is a Senior Resident at Peaceful Acres Horses, he's in his 30s! Wow!

Buddy's care requires a special diet and medicine for Cushing's disease.

Would you consider becoming Buddy's Care Sponsor, $95 a month or perhaps you will sponsor Buddy's full care at the Sanctuary, $2500 for the year.

He needed PAH, now PAH needs you.

Network For Good contributions are greatly appreciated!

Or charitable contributions may be mailed to 3740 Rynex Corners Rd Pattersonville NY 12137.

Thank you so very much for helping PAH to provide the very best care for Buddy.

Allie

Allie was saved from neglect and starvation on 2012. Over the years at Peaceful Acres Horses she is thriving, but she still does not have a Champion of her own to help sponsor her care.

Please consider becoming a sponsor to Allie and help PAH to keep her happy, healthy and sound.

Network For Good contributions are greatly appreciated. Or you may mail a gift towards Allie's care to 3740 Rynex Corners Rd Pattersonville NY 12137.

Thank you for your support of Allie, she's a Beautiful Soul!

LoLa

LoLa is a Senior Resident at Peaceful Acres Horses. She was saved from slaughter in 2015. She's now in need of a Care Sponsor of her own. Please consider making a charitable contribution toward Lola's care.

Network For Good contributions are greatly appreciated.

Or you may mail a gift to LoLa to 3740 Rynex Corners Rd Pattersonville NY 12137.
Thank you for considering LoLa as your PAH Sponsored Horse.

Winston

Sponsor me please,
My name is Winston and I was saved from the Slaughter Pipeline by PAH in 2010. I was a trail riding horse who became lame, so I was dumped in an auction.
I'm a resident at PAH looking for a Buddy Sponsor to call my own, or a Care Sponsor.
Please consider me to contribute to.
I am very very sweet and love people.
Thank you,
Winston

Precious

Precious is a resident at PAH, she was surrendered to PAH after years of not having "enough". When our team met Precious she was barely able to walk, due to chronic founder, she was weak and very fearful of people. After about a year of very consistent hoof trimming and proper care and nutrition, she turned a healing corner. Precious is still monitored often and is on a special diet, but she is now healthy and pasture sound. If you have it in your heart to become a sponsor or Feed Partner to Precious, she and PAH sure would appreciate your generosity and compassion.

Festus

Festus is a resident at PAH, he seems to be a bit famous here at the sanctuary! Team PAH met Festus in a kill-pen in 2015, where he waited for a forever person to save him, but no one came, so PAH stepped in and saved him. He was a stallion - jack donkey, but was still kind and lets say quiet.... that was until he came to PAH, and his voice could be heard for miles! Festus was gelded and became a very special guy here that everyone came to love. The day came that he was adopted, to a wonderful home, really spectacular! But after 2 weeks, Festus was showing he was not happy, he was acting out, and his new adoptive mom, thought it best if he returned to his herd and PAH family. So now Festus is back at the sanctuary and even has a Facebook page of his own! If you have it in your heart to become a sponsor or Feed Partner to Festus, he and PAH sure would appreciate your generosity and compassion.

JC

JC is a resident at PAH, he was saved from a NY kill-pen by PAH a few years back. And although he was healthy, spunky and liked people, he was dumped in the "auction". It was there that Team PAH bid against a kill-buyer to save his life. It was a time we will not forget. People walked up to us after the bidding was over and asked, "Why did you want that little mule so much?" Our response was, that his life, to us, had value and that was enough said. JC is a resident, because after 2 attempts at adoptions, he came back to us at his home. It appears, he misbehaves a bit when not here at the sanctuary! If you have it in your heart to become a sponsor or Feed Partner to JC, he and PAH sure would appreciate your generosity and compassion.

Journey has special nutritional needs as a senior and this is all quite expensive. Shilo

Shilo is a resident at PAH, he was saved from the slaughter pipeline as an aged Standardbred. His "bailer" was not able to keep him due to personal reasons, and PAH was asked to take him into our Senior Retirement Program. Shilo is a very handsome and strong boy who still loves to be the leader in his herd. His days of racing and being an Amished horse are over, he now enjoys his days as a horse in well deserved sanctuary. If you have it in your heart to become a sponsor or Feed Partner to Shilo, he and PAH sure would appreciate your generosity and compassion.

Destiny

Destiny is a resident at PAH, she was surrendered to PAH by her owner who was unable to properly care for her. After years of being fed hay that was not of good quality and lack of veterinary care, Destiny established a terrible case of COPD. Upon meeting Destiny she was hardly able to breathe, she was emaciated and very weak. Over time, her condition has improved at PAH and her quality of life has been restored, thanks to a wonderful senior diet and great veterinary care. If you have it in your heart to become a sponsor or Feed Partner to Destiny, she and PAH sure would appreciate your generosity and compassion.
