Become a Feed Partner

Please consider becoming a Feed Partner, only $42 a month, or you may make a one time donation to the PAH Feed Fund

You can use the direct donation links found on this page to make a one time donation. Please, add a note identifying if your gift is in honor of a loved one, a specific PAH rescued equine or a general gift to support the PAH Feed Fund.

Monthly Feed Partners are an incredibly valuable and hugely appreciated part of what keeps PAH sustained and the rescues well-cared for. Thank you for your compassion and generosity!

Volunteer

Volunteering at Peaceful Acres Horses is good for the mind, body, and social – emotional fitness. Research shows that sharing time with equines helps people to feel more joy, peace, contentment, social engagement, and have an improved positive outlook.

The social aspect of becoming a volunteer at Peaceful Acres Horses is an added benefit to the care of the horses, minis, mules and donkeys. Our volunteer caregivers become great friends!

PAH Volunteers help with daily stable and horse care, including cleaning stalls, feeding, watering, and grooming horses. PAH also needs help with: horse handling, community engagement, event planning, fundraising, stable and grounds maintenance.

We ask that volunteers commit to 2 or more volunteer sessions per-month, and commit to a period of 6 months or more. We value our volunteers and also the time we invest in training our new volunteers.

Volunteers must be 18 years old or older OR Youth 8 years old or older may volunteer as part of our Family Volunteer Program – this is a fun and engaging family activity.

Opportunities for Businesses

Businesses who believe in investing in the community they serve are incredibly valuable to the programs at PAH. You can make a cash donation, or sponsor an event or field-trip

Peaceful Acres Horses offers individual, family and group Equine-guided emotionally supportive coaching programs, These programs are designed to assist in improving the social – emotional capacity of participants. EGES programs have been PAH’s signature program since our inception in 2007. The coaching program is highly beneficial and effective for helping our clients to improve emotional regulation, self-esteem and resiliency.

Peaceful Acres Horses also offers Horse Hugs Field-trips for youth groups, schools, veterans, seniors, workgroups, and other groups who are looking to enjoy some good old fashioned time in nature with the rescued horses and donkeys. All Field-trip participants enjoy time with the animals and may also enjoy a picnic lunch at our yurt or pavilion.
